Are you, a family member, or an ancestor in one of the 100 pictures?

Fulham Football Club came from modest beginnings as a church football team in
1879, living a nomadic existence in their early days until they were established
at Craven Cottage in 1896. They turned professional a couple of years later and
after winning the Southern League for two consecutive years, they were elected into
the Football League in 1907.
Despite initial struggles, including relegation into the Third Division (South),
In 1928, the club experienced some success, enjoying promotion to the First Division
for the first time in 1948/49, and near-misses in the FA Cup in 1958, 1962 and
1975. They also benefited from having the talents of players such as England
captain Johnny Haynes, Bobby Robson, and World Cup winner George Cohen in
their side.
In this pictorial history, featuring many rare photographs, Alex White explores the
first 100 years of Fulham’s history, celebrating the triumphs of London’s oldest
professional football club.
