English football player Nathaniel Lofthouse OBE (27 August 1925 – 15 January 2011) spent his whole career as a striker with Bolton Wanderers. Between 1950 and 1958, he gained 33 caps for England and scored 30 goals, having one of the greatest goals-per-game percentages of any England player.
