Meet the Next Generation
Leicester’s Future Stars Revealed
The 2024-25 campaign at King Power presented significant challenges. Fresh back in the Prem, the Foxes spent much of the season looking over their shoulders, clinging just above the drop zone. Maresca’s lot showed the odd bit of class—especially under the floodlights at home—but couldn’t quite string a proper run together. The lack of bite up top was glaring, and with injuries to the likes of Dewsbury-Hall and Justin, the squad was stretched thinner than a matchday pie.
One of the true turning points was the emotional farewell for Jamie Vardy, the talismanic striker who finally called time on his incredible career in royal blue. From non-league graft to Premier League legend, Vardy’s story is the stuff of football folklore, and his send-off under the King Power lights had even the hardiest fans welling up. His knack for scoring when it mattered most will be missed—no one could rattle the big boys quite like him. The Foxes persevered, securing several significant victories, yet Vardy's absence in the front line left a significant void.
Despite a few proper limb moments—like nicking three points off one of the so-called Big Boys in the spring—Leicester’s defence looked leaky, and the Foxes had to graft for every point. Sixteenth spot at the final whistle meant another year in the top flight, but there wasn’t much breathing space. While supporters left the ground with a sense of relief, they also understood that the hard work was far from over.
The club is maintaining stability as they prepare for the 2025-26 season. Maresca is focussing on the youth, bringing in hungry youngsters to fill the gaps in midfield and at the back. The board has tightened their budget, opting for a few strategic additions to bolster the depth instead of reckless spending sprees. It’s all about building, not bodging.

Last year, demand was so high that our publishers couldn’t keep up, and we ended up having to cancel some orders—especially right before Christmas, when most soccer annuals fly off the shelves. If you want to make sure you get your copy, we recommend pre-ordering as early as you can. That way, we can guarantee delivery, and you won’t have to worry about missing out during the festive season.
