Stanley Paul Publications

Stanley Paul & Co. Ltd was established in London in 1906 and became one of Britain's best-known publishers of sporting books. By the mid-twentieth century, Stanley Paul had developed an extensive football list, publishing autobiographies, coaching books, club histories, football annuals and works featuring many of the leading players, managers and personalities of the game.

Stanley Paul's football publishing was particularly important during the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. Its football authors and subjects included some of the most famous names of their era, with books covering both English and Scottish football as well as international soccer.

Soccerbooks.co.uk has researched the history of Stanley Paul and compiled a collector's bibliography of its football publications from 1940 to the present.
