Women's football has become more popular around the world, and in order to sustain this growth, we must recognise the unique physiological and scientific factors that contribute to effective female play. Women's Football offers a comprehensive, easy-to-read, and plain examination of the major physiological, biomechanical, and social-psychological concerns that are relevant to the advancement of women's football. This innovative work provides evidence-based, scientific information with an emphasis on best practices, giving priority to the development of elite female football players. Because of this, every chapter is co-written, whenever feasible, by a researcher and a practitioner or player (such as a coach or football player), ensuring that the research and scientific ideas provided are clearly applied in real-world settings. Women's Football is required reading for all those connected to the game, from grassroots to elite levels, including strength and conditioning coaches, physiotherapists, doctors, nutritionists, sport psychologists, coaches, coach developers, technical directors, general managers, members of governing bodies, and club owners. Students and scholars researching sport and exercise will also find the book to be very helpful in their studies.
